Spratton Folk Festival proves great success at
NBC Market Square event.

Spratton Folk Festival was a resounding success at Northampton Borough Council's Market Square event on Saturday, 30 May. Invited by NBC to showcase the festival in the Market Square the team took the opportunity for a day out in our very own charrabanc - The Folkswagon bus.

We were supported across the day by a number of acts who will be performing at Spratton Folk Festival 2009:
- Invocal
- Carleko
- The Darrell Mitchell Occasional Orchestra
All 3 acts were very well received and even had some of the populace jigging around!
Our thanks to all of them for their superb sets and in particular to the 'Occasional Orchestra' who that same evening performed at Spratton School and waived their fee! Thanks guys.
Spratton Folk Festival 2009 on the Market Square was a great day when we spread the SFF word, made a lot of new friends and were bathed in glorious sunshine. It doesn't get any better than this!
